Greater China Millennials Insight

Hamilton the founder of Launch Pilots reached out to me a couple of months ago for referral work, and it’s been interesting to see what he’s doing in a fairly untapped area of running market intelligence on this fickle generation. A startup to watch as like modeling agencies where you go through a third party to connect you, Launch Pilots gives you that platform to connect with Millennials and an aggregated social force of influencers.

Another interesting deck I was going through the other day, a July 2016 snapshot of brand preferences between Gen Y and Gen Z from RTG Consulting.

Some interesting details there between the Gen Y-Z. I remember Converse was a super cool brand when I was still living in Beijing nearly 10 years ago, and my friends at W+K were producing those super cool short films and all the guerrilla art projects Converse was doing to establish brand equity in market. Sadly H&M as a fashion brand seems to have taken over. I suppose Converse belongs to Gen X-Y.
