Twitter: Vine and Polls

Looks like a gradual seamless integration and a step towards 2016’s focus on video content. Twitter has the option for you to link your Vine account (Vine is owned by twitter) and they recently implemented the function to shoot 15seconds videos too (like instagram) and upload it directly onto Twitter.

Polls

Something that Facebook has had for a while and China channels Weibo, Wechat, Douban and double has had too. Would be interesting to see how this Twitter poll addition adds to opportunities to increase engagement and gather some fans intelligence for more relevant messaging.

Do a test a learn on twitter pools and have some fun with Vine. While it never really took off in the Asia Pacific region and Instagram did, there is plenty of creativity around the content brands have done. Get some inspiration here and here. Still not sure if Vine would have any prospects in the Asia Pacific market. Meipai in China fulfils this need and Instagram (blocked in China) does it for the rest of the market.
