How’s this for a fancy food contraption?? Man or machine for good sushi?

I found this ingenious invention by Osko + Oskodeichmann. If you’re hopelessly incompetent at rolling sushi like me (I’m always too greedily overstuffing the rolls), this is a great contraption to have in the kitchen.

works the same way as a joint roller. wonder which came first.

haha I’m sure it was the joint, given that the meticulous Japanese have all these temperature control rules about making their sushi and maki.

I never knew these existed! I knew there were the rice moulds and then you just wrap the nori around it, but not a gadget like this. Haha. The things people invent for the not so dexterous.
